HAIR RESTART

A COMBINATION OF REVOLUTIONARY LASER AND PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)

A revolutionary non-surgical approach to treat hair loss, or thinning hair.

Key Advantages:

  • Prevention of further hair loss

  • Increase of hair density and thickness

  • Promotion of new follicle growth

  • No medications

  • No down-time

THE PROCEDURE

Step 1: The Laser will gently deliver light to the tissue, triggering the hair follicle in a safe and controlled way.

Step 2: Research shows that injecting the platelets found in a patient's blood will activate growth factors and improve the blood supply to the hair follicles and increase the thickness of the hair shafts.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Studies show that pulsing laser light onto the scalp during HAIRestart® treatment activates the body’s own mechanisms inside the skin, causing a production of growth factors and proteins between skin cells which trigger the regeneration process. The hair growth cycle is promoted by a faster transition from the resting phase to the growing phase, resulting in an increase in hair density and thickness. Laser therapy also increases blood flow to the base of the hair follicle at what is known as the dermal papilla by increasing the diameter of the nearby blood vessels and promoting the formation of new blood vessels.

RESEARCH CASE STUDIES

This treatment produces significant results and highly satisfied patients.

Several clinical studies of HAIRestart® have demonstrated high efficacy and an absence of adverse effects. Significant improvement of hair growth along with increased hair density, and a stabilisation of hair loss were reported, regardless of AGA (androgenetic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness or female pattern hair loss) grade, patient age or AGA duration.

The results of patients’ blind evaluation in one study (Day D. et al., 2021) indicated improvement in hair quality in 93% of patients, which was not correlated with age or AGA grade. In other studies (Dekeyser B., 2019 and Mercik G. et al., 2021), patients reported subjective feedback as well, describing a more elastic and less dry scalp, and thicker, more durable, healthier and denser hair than before.
